A Yes Club is more than just a Bible Club. Yes Clubs International actually teaches and trains the
youth of the club to hold key leadership positions. The clubs are started with interest from the
students and after one or two meetings the students will vote on the key leadership positions of
the Yes Club. Yes Clubs are unique in the fact that every member of the Club has a position, title,
and responsibility, if they so desire to participate. Yes Clubs International meetings are also
unique because of the balanced program of game time and Bible time during each meeting.
Successful Yes Clubs have many fun, crazy, and bizarre games that are as fun to watch as they
are to participate in and participants receive some sort of prize. In successful Yes Clubs
there are devotions or preaching, singing, invitations, and time for prayer,
and time for prayer requests from the students.

How does a Yes Club meet?
A Yes Club International meeting schedule will vary from school to school. The school will
determine the time and place for all clubs that meet at their facilities. Meeting times could
range from before school, during lunch periods, during school wide club days, to after school meetings. The best meeting times are on designated club days that middle schools and high
schools have scheduled throughout their school year. Most elementary schools do not have designated club days, so you may be limited to before school or after school meetings. The
designated “club days” will allow you to maximize attendance of all students who wish to
attend. Usually on club days you will meet during first or second periods, or the last period
of the school day.

How do you start a Yes Club?
As long as the school has designated club days, then under the "Equal Access Act" you are
permitted to have a Yes Club during club hours.  To start your Yes Club, you will need to
meet with the school administration and/or the director over that school’s clubs.  You may be
required to have a list of students wanting Yes Club time in thier school. Yes Clubs are to be
student initiated and student led with the sponsor teaching and training leadership skills.
“The students will always be the key to having a Yible Club”.  Club times will be determined by
the school administration. Though it is possible to start a Yes Club in a school where you are
unknown, it is very difficult to build a large, stable attendance. A proven way to maximize Yes
Club attendance is explained in the next section!

How to maximize your Yes Club attendance!
Many “Bible Clubs” have been started and struggle to keep up attendance.  One of the reasons
is that the students do not know who you are or what you will be doing in the club. Yes Clubs
International recommends in, order to maximize attendance, to first teach character, moral, and
ethics classes in the school. YCI recommends using the Rock of Ages Ministries, Inc. Character
Under Construction curriculum. This curriculum is designed to teach the character, morals, and
ethics, of the Bible in a neutral, objective, and academic manner as required by American law.
These lessons have been widely accepted by educators and are proven to be loved by students of
all ages. Upon being in the classrooms teaching the character classes, the students know who you
are, what you stand for, and they know that they can trust you. Your attendance numbers will
therefore be maximized and will usually run in the hundreds. Also by being in the school
classrooms teaching character lessons, you will have a better understanding of who will want
to attend a Yes Club and who has the potential for becoming leaders of the Yes Club. All this
together will give your Sponsorship of a Yes Club a better chance to be a tremendous success
and have a positive impact in the lives of students as well as the communities of those students.
